Little did they know it would be my career choice! My work is driven by the combination of multiple passions: food, cooking, gardening, and playing. My world is filled with beautiful food, fabulous colors, fresh herbs, and exotic spices. I enjoy creating images that capture the natural beauty of real food.

Hi! I’m Ellen.

I started my food styling business in 1993 and have never looked back… although I have looked sideways a couple of times! Using my experience and culinary creativity, I have styled food for advertising, cookbooks, menus, magazines, television, social media, and packaging. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a sense of humor have helped me build long lasting relationships with clients and photographers.

With a library of cookbooks (old and new), an ever-changing collection of props and accessories, and by immersing myself in current food and photography trends, I bring a fresh outlook to the table. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona with my husband, Jeff, and eight rescue dogs: Tinkerbelle, Buddy, Angus, Ozzy, Sierra, Kevin, Scotty and Samantha.
